Floor Restoration and Refinishing
Refinish old hardwood floors without sanding. If you have an old hardwood floor, is there enough wood left to refinish? You may have a high risk floor. Do you really want to turn your valuable wood floors over to someone who is going to grind them into oblivion? You probably need to refinish those old hardwood floors without sanding. This is completely possible. With more than 40 years of experience working on old wood floors, we share your concern and that is why we offer a different approach. We treat your floors like an investment and help you realize their full potential. We take the fear, dust, vapors and chaos out of the refinishing and restoration process and give you beauty, durability and performance.
The Rosebud Company has several different approaches to wood floor finishing and restoration:
Cleaning & Recoating Hardwood Floors
So your floors were refinished within the last 10-20 years and they look a little shabby. They don’t need sanding, they just need a little cosmetic improvement. This is precisely what recoating was made for. This low-impact option has a growing popularity with homeowners who see the value and efficiency of refurbishing their wood floors with our recoating system. The existing coating is thoroughly cleaned and prepped. We then use nontoxic chemical bonding agents as a final surface prep and make two applications of state-of-the-art waterborne coatings. There is no dust, no noxious vapors and the floors are back in service quickly. It simply doesn’t get any better than this and we have a 100 percent success rate to back that up. More here.

Refinish Old Hardwood Floors without Sanding
Any home built before 1950 has a wood floor that has already lost a lot of wood. That’s why we take a non-traditional approach to sanding old finishes off your floors. We don’t attack the floor with coarse grit paper and sprint through the work. We take a “kinder and gentler” approach to sanding the surface and remove a fraction of the wood. We’re going to take the time necessary to preserve your floors. We will refinish old hardwood floors without sanding. You get beautiful wood floors with minimal loss of wood. It is a good use of our experience and a wise investment in your old wood floors. More about that here
